DETROIT – Chrysler is recalling almost 600,000 minivans and Jeep Wranglers in the United States and another 100,000 elsewhere because of brake or wiring problems that could create safety issues, the company and federal regulators said Monday.

Chrysler said it is recalling 288,968 Jeep Wranglers from the 2006 through 2010 model years due to a potential brake fluid leak.

What Ever Happen to Pride

000 0004 01 What Ever Happen to Pride By Bob L.

What ever happen to craftsmanship, can any one answer that question, I don’t think so because the people today are more interested in money then turning out a good product.

There are more recalls today then there were back in the 40′s 50′s and early 60′s, and then it seams that every one got greedy, more money then pride in their job, is that not when Governments wanted more TAXES, and Companies started to give them selves big pay raises and bonuses, Oh and we can’t forget

Never Forget Past, Present, or Future of the brave who fight for FREEDOM

Memorial Day Holiday comes around once a year, but we should never forget any one who defends our country at HOME, I am not talking about the people that want every thing open, this also includes Government agencies, I a am talking about all Law Enforcement personal, or ABROAD every day, to keep them from coming here.

Here are a few comments of appreciation.

Never before had 24 musical notes evoked such emotion as when the bugle call of “Taps” was first sounded.

Our rights come from the hand of Almighty God, yet they have been secured by our veterans.

In remembrance of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation.

To all of my fellow veterans, thank you for your service. God bless you.

“Taps”

Day is done
Gone the sun
From the lakes
From the hills
From the skies
All is well
Safely rest
God is nigh

Honoring America’s Fallen Heroes

By Rowan Scarborough
05/31/2010

Americans honor their fallen heroes today, the ninth Memorial Day since former President George W. Bush declared war on radical Islamic terrorists and liberated two nations.

“Personal as well as public acts of remembering are the ideal,” said Thomas J. Tradewell, commander in chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. “Means of paying tribute vary. Pausing for a few moments of personal silence is available to everyone.”

I live to remember.

I have not forgotten that America is still at war in Iraq and Afghanistan and that our finest citizens have volunteered to put themselves in harm’s way in the name of freedom. The media has done a grave disservice to our warriors and their families who have been asked to sacrifice so much. The war is now barely covered by the media.

Maybe so called journalists have forgotten. The media has moved on.
