Kill This Bill

By Bob L.

Straight up, LETS just call it what it is, it is nothing more then an HMO on steroids, big Government big profits, and poor America. ROUND and ROUND it go s, where it stops only Government knows.

Like the old saying, DEATH and TAXES, WHO, has the final say if this bill PASSES.

Dear Readers,

It has been over a year since President Obama announced his plans for comprehensive health reform.

Since the announcement, as Americans learned more and more about the Democrats’ health care bill, opposition to the left’s plans for big government health care have grown and grown.

It started with the explosion of outrage at town hall meetings over the bill’s cuts to Medicare to pay for new bureaucracies and programs.

It gained steam when Americans realized the frightening potential for “death panels” when you give government the power to deny care based on budgetary concerns. Read the rest of this entry »

Research Ties Diabetes Drug to Heart Woes

By GARDINER HARRIS
Published: February 19, 2010

Hundreds of people taking Avandia, a controversial diabetes medicine, needlessly suffer heart attacks and heart failure each month, according to confidential government reports that recommend the drug be removed from the market.

The reports, obtained by The New York Times, say that if every diabetic now taking Avandia were instead given a similar pill named Actos, about 500 heart attacks and 300 cases of heart failure would be averted every month because Avandia can hurt the heart. Avandia, intended to treat Type 2 diabetes, is known as rosiglitazone and was linked to 304 deaths during the third quarter of 2009.

“Rosiglitazone should be removed from the market,” one report, by Dr. David Graham and Dr. Kate Gelperin of the Food and Drug Administration, concludes. Both authors recommended that Avandia be withdrawn.

The internal F.D.A. reports are part of a fierce debate within the agency over what to do about Avandia, manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. Some agency officials want the drug withdrawn because they believe there is a safer alternative; others insist that studies of the drug provide contradictory information and that Avandia should continue to be an option for doctors and patients. GlaxoSmithKline said that it had studied Avandia extensively and that “scientific evidence simply does not establish that Avandia increases” the risk of heart attacks. Read the rest of this entry »

States must fill $1 trillion pension gap

By Bob L. The way I see it!
HOLD FOR RELEASE AT 12:01 A.M.; U.S. map shows troubled state ...

Here is a good example of why you have high taxes, Government hires to many people to do a job that fewer people can do, then they hirer consulting firms to do what is suppose to be done by the people in these Government jobs that you the tax payer is paying for, then you have to pay for their PENSIONS and HEALTH INSURANCE also. A good example, a private company sends out FOUR workers, to where the Government sends out EIGHT to TEN workers to do the same job, now why are taxes so high, (when some are making $45.00 dollars an hour or more.) Who pays for these WAGES, PENSIONS and HEALTH INSURANCE benefits? YOU, and JUST THINK, you pay into them and don’t get any of there benefits.

This whole article sounds just like Social Security, except on the State level.

HARRISBURG, Pa. – States may be forced to reduce benefits, raise taxes or slash government services to address a $1 trillion funding shortfall in public sector retirement benefits, according to a new study that warns of even more debilitating costs if immediate action isn’t taken.

The Pew Center on the States released a survey Thursday of state-administered pension plans, retiree health care and other post-employment benefits in all 50 states that blamed a decade’s worth of policy decisions for leaving them shortchanged. Obama, black leaders focus on economic hard times

By Bob L. This is the way I see it!politician animation
If all these agitators would go out and get a real job and stop making it hard for any one to get a job, and keep their nose out of every ones business, but that will never happen because they have a double standard and are making sure that they keep race stirred up because if a white says some thing SUE, but if a black says the same thing it is FUNNY, so how can any one have equal rights.

If you were an Employer would you hire any one if you new that you would get sued for firing some one because they could not do the job or they were causing trouble all the time, or showed up when ever they wanted to, knowing that they could sue if they got fired.
I my self would not hire any one unless they really wanted to work and not there because I had to hire them, so take it from there why do some minorities get a job and not others.(It is a matter of a chip.)

If all these Prominent African-American leaders would keep their mouth shut and stop keeping things in an uproar and stop trying to sue companies every time a minority looses a job or can’t get a job then maybe every one will get a job if these companies know they will not get sued every time they turn around.

Keep An Eye On The U.N.

This go s along with, The UN Deception and the new world order! take it how you want, but when they get their way lets see what you think then.

No control of the United States, BY the United Nations or foreign nations.

This Country fought for their freedom from foreign control and drew up a Constitution to follow to stay free.

The less it is monitored, the more liberties it takes.

If you don’t like your tax bill now, watch out for the plans of the United Nations. The U.N. has been cooking up proposals to tax you every time you fly, drink, bank, use the Internet or earn a buck.

For an institution that has yet to master the art of policing its own accounts, that’s awfully ambitious. But an urge to dig ever deeper into your wallet, dear tax-payer, has become a staple on the drawing boards of U.N. plan-o-crats.

The U.N. already collects billions in both dues and voluntary contributions from the governments of the developed world–first and foremost from the U.S., which typically foots the bill for roughly one-quarter of most major U.N. activities. The actual U.N. budget is a slippery number. The book-keeping is opaque, often tardy or incomplete and spread across many parts of the U.N. archipelago, with no single U.N. office fully accountable for the entire system. In 2006 then-Secretary General Kofi Annan said the U.N. system-wide budget was about $20 billion; by now, with ever-expanding U.N. operations, funding appeals and hazily defined “partnerships,” it is certainly larger. But for U.N. spenders this torrent of other people’s money is not enough. Read the rest of this entry »
