The less it is monitored, the more liberties it takes.
If you don’t like your tax bill now, watch out for the plans of the United Nations. The U.N. has been cooking up proposals to tax you every time you fly, drink, bank, use the Internet or earn a buck.
For an institution that has yet to master the art of policing its own accounts, that’s awfully ambitious. But an urge to dig ever deeper into your wallet, dear tax-payer, has become a staple on the drawing boards of U.N. plan-o-crats.
The U.N. already collects billions in both dues and voluntary contributions from the governments of the developed world–first and foremost from the U.S., which typically foots the bill for roughly one-quarter of most major U.N. activities. The actual U.N. budget is a slippery number. The book-keeping is opaque, often tardy or incomplete and spread across many parts of the U.N. archipelago, with no single U.N. office fully accountable for the entire system. In 2006 then-Secretary General Kofi Annan said the U.N. system-wide budget was about $20 billion; by now, with ever-expanding U.N. operations, funding appeals and hazily defined “partnerships,” it is certainly larger. But for U.N. spenders this torrent of other people’s money is not enough. Continue Reading »

01/30/10 You can believe what you want, but what I have seen in 55 years coming through the years to today, seeing these videos brought back a lot of what I forgot about how Africa became one of the poorest nations and who will benefit under a One World Government if Cap & tax passes under climate control,, see if it opens up your eyes, it looks like Obama and the Democrats are the ones to seal the deal on a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT, and if you really listen to what he has said and is saying these words below have meaning.
Does any of these meanings sound familiar WFA, world order, collective order, interdependence, global community, economic integration, and convergence, these words are always mentioned in campaign speeches, and in state of the union speeches this is brought up.
By Bob L. Nothing new same Obama, where is the can of grease. Who’s Running our Country? Good speech, a typical Obama, he still blames every one else for the problems that he has done in the year he has been in office, he has his mind made up to start a new world order, and sell this Country to the European banks so he and his cronies can have a steady job running this Country into the ground.
My self did not see a change, it is the same old rhetoric, one lie after another, he is going to do his darnedest to push every thing HE wants down the throats of all Americans people no matter what they say or do, the only way to stop him is IMPEACH HIM, and if the people don’t stop him, then they have no one to blame.

President Barack Obama on Wednesday night tacked to the right with appeals for tax cuts for small business and new investments in off-shore oil drilling and nuclear power. He tacked to the left with renewed vows to let gays serve in the military and to get U.S. troops out of Iraq.
He sounded at times like a Bill Clinton-style centrist, at others like a bank-bashing populist. He taunted Republicans, and also presented himself as a lonely tribune of cooperation and bipartisan civility in Washington.
In a favorable light, his State of the Union speech may have revealed the mind of a leader who has never cared much about traditional ideological categories and is determined to create his own results-oriented composite of ideas from across the spectrum. Continue Reading »
A U.S Army soldier was arrested Monday in Volusia County. Deputies say he stole a military Humvee and took off.
Deputies say Private Sean Johnson drove the Humvee from his army base at Fort Stewart in Georgia all the way into Volusia when he ran out of gas.
A Volusia County deputy saw the vehicle stranded on Interstate 95 near the Port Orange exit and stopped to check it out.
He got suspicious when Johnson didn’t have any military paperwork to prove he was on a military mission.
The deputy called the Army. Army police say Johnson was AWOL and had stolen the Humvee earlier in the week.
Johnson is in the Volusia County jail facing grand theft charges.
In Wednesday’s State of the Union speech, President Barack Obama will vow a return to fiscal responsibility, featuring a temporary freeze on “nonsecurity” discretionary spending. We’ve heard this sort of talk from Obama before — but his words have proved cheaper than his budget.
Shortly after his Inauguration, Obama also went before Congress pledging fiscal austerity. Then, he “pledged to cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term in office.” He added that “because we’re also suffering from a deficit of trust, I am committed to restoring a sense of honesty and accountability to our budget.”
Now, as Obama readies his second budget, both the actual and the “trust” deficit are much bigger.
First, the actual budget: While Obama inherited an economic mess, the short-term budget outlook was relatively stable. Until the economic meltdown and subsequent financial bailouts in fall 2008, President George W. Bush’s past few budgets contained essentially no increases in nondefense discretionary spending (the sort of freeze Obama now wants to reinstate) and actually forecast a small surplus by 2012. So rosy was the nation’s short-term fiscal outlook that John McCain confidently promised a balanced budget during his first term if elected president. Continue Reading »
Delivering the weekly Republican address, Congressman John Boehner (R-West Chester) provides a prebuttal to President Obama’s upcoming State of the Union address. Boehner says Republican Scott Brown’s victory in the Massachusetts special election gives Washington Democrats a choice: work with Republicans to create jobs and get our economy moving again or double down on the job-killing policies that are making matters worse. Boehner also outlines Republicans’ better solutions to address today’s challenges, including a no-cost jobs plan and the only health care bill that would lower premiums up to 10 percent.
In May, President Barack Obama removed Gen. David D. McKiernan as the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan and replaced him with Gen. Stanley A. While House leaders jetted out of Washington after their big health care vote, Harry Reid is left scraping for options.

One of the most revealing things about liberals is their insistence that only they can define a “real” minority or a “real” woman. In the eyes of the left, Clarence Thomas, Ken Blackwell and J.C. Likewise, Michele Bachmann, the smiling firebrand conservative congresswoman from Minnesota, and Sarah Palin, the popular former governor of Alaska, will never be “real” women.

Across the country, people are angry and frustrated at a government that seems to care more about itself than about the American people and their future. Among the most troubling developments is the increased use of national security to provide political cover — both for politicians and for controversial legislation that cannot pass on its own. This “politicization” of national security is not only wrong, it makes it harder to protect the country. The examples of this politicization are plentiful and increasingly problematic. Recently, President Obama signed into law the Defense Authorization bill, which included controversial hate crimes legislation that could not pass as a stand-alone bill. There are rumblings that another national security bill, the Defense Appropriations Act, may have D. C. voting rights or an increase in the national debt limit attached to it. Continue Reading »

Abraham Lincoln once said, “Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.”But what if those who restrict our freedoms are the very people who are in charge of securing them?
Over just the past year, Washington has worked double time to limit your liberties, despite the fact that such reductions have been cloaked under the guise of governmental progress.
First and foremost, Washington has reduced our freedoms and restricted our future by heaping upon our posterity astronomical amounts of debt, trying to jump-start the credit circus in our economy. Despite borrowing $787 billion from China to stimulate the economy with a promise to cap unemployment at 8 percent, unemployment has climbed to 10.2 percent and shows no sign of decreasing. And right now, a record 14 percent of homeowners are either in foreclosure or behind by at least one mortgage payment. Continue Reading »

The military is throwing the book at three terrorist-hunting Navy SEALs who captured one of the most wanted in Iraq.
It seems one of the commandos may have punched Ahmed Hashim Abed, who intelligence reports said planned the bloody ambush of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah, Iraq, five years ago.
Instead of plaudits, three SEALs face court-martial in January. And conservatives are expressing outrage to HUMAN EVENTS. Continue Reading »
By Bob L. On the left is where all the deals are made so the American people don’t know what is going on. And here on the right is what will be happening when they finally get people back to work , but the only problem is the whole family will have to work to pay the bills, because they will have to get rid of the child labor laws, in other words a depression.
And this gentleman here is standing before you lying to you about what was settled behind closed doors.

America is at war. According to the latest opinion polls, that is not what many Americans want to hear as we celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday. Our political “leaders” don’t want to acknowledge this war. Our media does its best to ignore it. Most of our business, society and industry are removed from it. What little manufacturing remains in this country turns out products other than those used by our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Guardsmen and Marines. Our allies have long ago largely abandoned this fight, and our entertainment industry openly mocks and condemns it. Continue Reading »
On December 18, 2007, then presidential candidate Barack Obama leveled the first of dozens of heavy criticisms against President George W. Bush. In a speech in Des Moines, Obama blasted President Bush for taking his “eye off the ball in Afghanistan.” He continued: “It’s time to…increase our military, political, and economic commitment to Afghanistan. That’s what…I’ll do as president.”
This was Barack Obama’s first “eye off the ball” speech. It was the beginning of a barrage of campaign speeches accusing the Bush administration of “taking our eye off of Osama bin Laden” (Denver, 1/30/08).Continue Reading »

Presidential politics is about storytelling. Presented with a vivid storyline, voters naturally tend to fit every new event or piece of information into a picture that is already neatly framed in their minds.
No one understands this better than Barack Obama and his team, who won the 2008 election in part because they were better storytellers than the opposition. The pro-Obama narrative featured an almost mystically talented young idealist who stood for change in a disciplined and thoughtful way. This easily out powered the anti-Obama narrative, featuring an opportunistic Chicago pol with dubious relationships who was more liberal than he was letting on. Continue Reading »

Obama’s speech at West Point tonight will be a masterpiece of manipulation. Lee Siegel on how this president has hoodwinked the nation.
Well, what a coincidence. Two days before Obama is set to give a speech at West Point, in which he is expected to announce at least 30,000 more troops for Afghanistan, a Senate Foreign Relations Committee report is released that blames an insufficient number of troops for Osama bin Laden’s escape from American forces in 2001. You could be forgiven for thinking that the chairman of the committee, Sen. John Kerry, is serving his commander in chief’s interests. Continue Reading »
After waiting months for a long-promised “new strategy” to fight what President Obama has oft defined as “the necessary war,” he has disappointed. His vaunted strategy not only lacks a clear objective, but is a message of defeat.
Obama spoke of “targeting the insurgency” while his administration prosecutes Navy SEALs for doing just that, imposes insane rules of engagement on soldiers in combat, and insists that terrorists be read their rights on the battlefield. The only targets, as analyst Ralph Peters has said, will be the Soldiers and Marines now hastily preparing to deploy on what their commander-in-chief has already announced as a war he does not support. Last week, Fox News reported a jaw-dropping story about how our War on Terror has now become a war on ourselves. In September, a team of Navy SEALs captured terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed, a man known to the U.S. military as “Objective Amber,” the architect of the vicious and deadly attack on four American contractors in the summer of 2004. These poor men were shot, burned, and then their bodies were desecrated, hung from a bridge over the Euphrates River.
But instead of hailing the SEALs as heroes for bringing this vicious murderer to justice, three of them have been brought up on charges. Continue Reading »

The commander in chief’s December 1 lecture at the U.S. Military Academy has to go down in history as one of the strangest presentations ever offered by a war-time president. [Editor’s note: The Nobel Peace Prize is supposed to recognize and reward contributions to world peace. But, for decades, the Prize Committee has made the award a tool of left-wing politics and UN chicanery, risibly awarding the prize to recipients including the late Yassir Arafat, a terrorist, global warmist Al Gore and now President Obama, in recognition of what they believe are Obama’s good intentions and not for anything he has accomplished to date. BOSTON (AP) – A panicky White House and Democratic allies scrambled Sunday for a plan to salvage their hard-fought health care package in case a Republican wins Tuesday’s Senate race in Massachusetts, which would enable the GOP to block further Senate action.

In a city full of conflicts of interest, this one ranks near the top of the “Most Blatant Ever.” Robin Roy is a senior executive of Serious Materials, a California-based windows maker that was virtually unknown within its industry until last year when President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden began praising it as, in the latter’s words, the “poster child of green industry.”

See the problem here is that they did not get money direct, but they could have receive Government money by installing the windows, that is where the conflict of interest comes in, and this could be interpreted as illegal, it just does not look good to the American people who are out of work, especially other window manufactures.

The problem is, if they do what they want to do, the working people are going to pay the price while the rich will profit, how would you feel if this all gets passed and you later find out that it was a scam for money.

Turns out that Serious never took any money from DOE or any other agency. And when theyopened those plants and rehired the workers and Obama mentioned them, Zoi didn’t even work at DOE till several months later.

As the 20th-century idols of atheism, humanism and communism are falling worldwide a spiritual vacuum is left that must be filled. In the resulting contest for the souls and minds of Americans in this new world order, the Church faces formidable opponents in godless liberal collectivists, neo-conservative fascists, globalists, New Age religion, Islam and Satanism.
No longer are we only threatened from without by a group of balding hard-line Communists – we are now threatened from within – by a group of intelligent, well-dressed globalists who are convincing America and the nations of the world that the only way to lasting world peace is the establishment of a … “New World Order.”
New World Order is a term used to describe the uniting of the world’s superpowers to secure and maintain global peace, safety, and security. Synonymous with the term New World Order are the terms one world government, global governance, and globalization. All these terms are used interchangeably and at different times to communicate to different audiences. Make no mistake – they all basically mean the same thing. Continue Reading »
Less than 20 years after the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was founded, World War II had arrived and once that war was over, America was ready to join “the League of Nations.”
The United Nations’ 18 acres of prime Manhattan land was donated by the Rockefeller family (the CFR’s chairman is David Rockefeller).
America sat down in San Francisco with Alger Hiss and joined the United Nations, the successor to the League of Nations – Alger Hiss, a charter member of the CFR; Alger Hiss, whose sympathy with communism can no longer be denied.
The U.N. Charter and constitution is a thin paraphrasing of the Soviet model which Alger Hiss borrowed from when he coauthored it. The U.N. constitution is therefore a Marxist socialist paradigm.
World regionalism is spelled out clearly in the U.N. Charter, Chapters 8 through 11, using such terms as “regional arrangements, intergovernmental agreements, and metropolital areas.” Advocates of one-world socialism have already divided the world into 85 regions for policing purposes. In adopting the U.N. Charter, Congress has established the Charter as the Supreme Law of the land (Fugi v. State of California, 1950-52). Continue Reading »
It was telling that on the one-year anniversary of Barack Obama’s inauguration the spotlight was not on the president but on a previously little-known Republican state senator who had just won a special election for a Senate seat in the bluest of blue states.
For Obama, gone was the euphoria, the sky-high approval ratings and the aura of invincibility that surrounded his first days in office.
Indeed, after the Democrats’ losses in New Jersey and Virginia and the steepest decline in approval rating of any president after his first year in office, Brown’s triumph was the perfect exclamation mark to Obama’s dreadful first year in office. Continue Reading »

On Jan. 14, five days before the Massachusetts special election, President Obama was in full bring-it-on mode as he rallied House Democrats behind his health care reform. “If Republicans want to campaign against what we’ve done by standing up for the status quo and for insurance companies over American families and businesses, that is a fight I want to have.”
The bravado lasted three days. When Obama campaigned in Boston on Jan. 17 for Obamacare supporter Martha Coakley, not once did he mention the health care bill. When your candidate is sinking, you don’t throw her a millstone.
After Coakley’s defeat, Obama pretended that the real cause was a generalized anger and frustration “not just because of what’s happened in the last year or two years, but what’s happened over the last eight years.” Continue Reading »

PORT-AU-PRINCE (AFP) – Haiti’s government has ended the search and rescue phase of the quake relief effort after two people who spent 10 days buried under rubble were pulled out alive and the death toll soared to more than 110,000.

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration soon may guarantee as much as $18.5 billion in loans to build new nuclear reactors to generate electricity, and Congress is considering whether to add billions more to support an expansion of nuclear power.
These actions come after an extensive decade-long campaign in which companies and unions related to the industry have spent more than $600 million on lobbying and nearly $63 million on campaign contributions, according to an analysis by the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University .
Nuclear power generates about 20 percent of America’s electricity, but many existing reactors are aging and no new plant has been authorized since the 1979 incident at Three Mile Island , when small amounts of radiation were released and authorities feared for days that a huge surge might escape. That’s in part because it can cost as much as $8 billion to build a nuclear plant, and in part because the problems of nuclear waste and safety remain unsolved. Continue Reading »
Bush is old news he is not the President any more, no matter what he did is past and the new President should be smart enough to know that what ever happen, he should know how to clean up the mess, and be qualified to do the job, if he can’t do it, then he should be removed and a qualified person should be elected to do the job and look to the future not the past.
Obama is so unqualified he had to bring in other people to tell him how to do his job as President, and they are not even qualified for what he is trying to do.

After three consecutive losses in statewide races, some top Democrats are questioning a tactic aimed at boosting the party’s candidates in each of those contests: Bush-bashing.
Running as much against the Bush White House as he was running against Sen. John McCain, Barack Obama easily carried Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts in 2008.
Yet when Democratic nominees for governor in Virginia and New Jersey and for Senate in Massachusetts sought to tie their GOP opponents to the still-unpopular former president, the strategy didn’t resonate. Voters were more focused on the current administration or local political issues — and the onetime Democratic magic formula seemed yesterday’s news. Full Story
